Lemongrass

Lemongrass is a long-leaved perennial with sharp edges. It grows in the tropical and subtropical areas.

The spice raw material are stems. In appearance, just after cutting, it resembles spring onions.

Lemongrass is an ingredient in many dishes: soups, marinades, curries, salads and pickles. Instead of fresh lemongrass, you can use dried grass. One teaspoon of lemongrass is used per cup of tea. In South America, grass infusion is a popular refreshing drink.
