Oolong Da Hong Pao
Da Hong Pao or the Great Red Robe is a high quality Chinese oolong. It is strongly oxidized to about 60% and roasted. Such a production process and its origin from the Wuyi mountains give it a unique character.
The fragrance features notes of nuts, wood, skin and cinnamon. The taste profile is similar to the scented one, additionally slight lightness and mineral accents are perceptible.
We recommend to brew it in the style of Gong Fu Cha: 5 grams per 150 ml, water temperature 90 ° C, steam length 30 seconds, 30 seconds, 60 seconds, 90 seconds.
